Meet Our Physiotherapist Talia Webb

Talia Webb

Why did you become a Physiotherapist?
I had a few sporting injuries when I was younger, which gave me some exposure to what a physiotherapist does and how much they can make a positive impact on people’s lives. I always wanted to pursue a career in the health care and sport setting so physio seemed like a good pick for me to join both of these passions together.

What sort of patients do you most enjoy helping?
I love treating all ages but have an extra special interest in treating kids! I love getting to make therapy fun and helping them get even more happy and healthy. I also have a special interest in dancing and sport related overuse injuries, getting people out of chronic or long term pain is so rewarding!

Interesting things you have done in your career?
I had the opportunity to work with professional dancers from the major stage shows and dance companies in Melbourne. As an ex-dancer myself this was an amazing experience that joined two of my passions together!

What do you do to keep fit?
I coach calisthenics and work as a trainer at a footy club in my spare time, so that keeps me pretty busy and active! I also love going for walks and hikes with my friends!

Greatest sporting achievement?
Probably competing and coming 2nd in the world championships for sport aerobics.

If you could jump on a plane and visit one city, which would it be?
I would love to go to Rome!

Favourite thing to do outside of work?
I love catching up with friends and finding new restaurants to go to!

Where did you grow up?
I grew up and still live in Mitcham!

What is your food weakness?
Red rooster!!

I love getting to make therapy fun and helping them get even more happy and healthy.
