Why did you become a Physiotherapist?
I became a physiotherapist because of my passion for sport and physical activity. I love helping people recover and regain their ability to move, allowing them to reach their full potential and get back to doing what they enjoy.
What sort of patients do you most enjoy helping?
I enjoy helping a broad range of patients, from athletes with sport-related injuries, to everyday gym goers and those trying to improve their function in everyday life. I just love being able to help people feel better and continue doing what they love while maintaining their health and well-being.
Interesting things you have done in your career?
Alongside my physio study and work, I have played professional basketball in the WNBL for the past 7 years, giving me the opportunity to travel all over Australia and the world to play the sport I love!
What do you do to keep fit?
To keep fit I love going to the gym, and I continue to semi-professional basketball in the NBL1.
Greatest sporting achievement?
My greatest sporting achievement would have to be winning Gold for Australia at the 2016 U17 Basketball World Championships in Spain!
If you could jump on a plane and visit one city, which would it be?
I’d love to go and explore Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Favourite thing to do outside of work?
My favorite thing to do outside of work is go on walks and play in the backyard with my Labradoodle Ollie.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Warranwood!
What is your food weakness?
My food weakness is definitely Kingston choccy biscuits!
