Meet Our Myotherapist Holly Boscott

Holly Boscott
Why did you become a Myotherapist?
I’ve always known I wanted to work with athletes and active individuals since school, I just wasn’t sure what path that would take. After an unexpected detour into paediatric dentistry, I discovered Remedial Massage which eventually led me to Myotherapy. I quickly fell in love with the blend of hands-on treatment with exercise correction and how it builds both trust and confidence, helping people move out of pain and perform at their best. What excites me most is that this is a field of endless learning and growth and one that is incredibly rewarding.
What sort of patients do you most enjoy helping?
I enjoy working with people who bring a positive and open mindset – whether their goal is to run a marathon, lift up their child, or get back on the tools pain free. I especially love working with those who share a passion for training and an active lifestyle, with a particular interest in martial artists, bodybuilders & athletes overall.
Interesting things you have done in your career?
My Myotherapy career is just starting and I cannot wait to see where it takes me! As a former athlete who lived and breathed training and recovery – I appreciate the value of treatment and a trusting client-therapist relationship, and I look forward to being on the other side of the fence.
What do you do to keep fit?
I am a gym girl through and through! I love training hard. On the flip side, I also love Dance Fitness! I run my own women’s classes which incorporate dancing, boxing, kicking and high energy cardio. I love trying new activities and getting out of my comfort zone.
Greatest sporting achievement?
Back in 2015, I travelled to Croatia for the World Youth Cup Championships in Karate, proudly representing Australia and coming home with a gold medal
If you could jump on a plane and visit one city, which would it be?
London (and all around the UK) !! I have loved-ones I cannot WAIT to see plus exploring everything from the city to the wide open country landscapes.
Favourite thing to do outside of work?
I have many favourites that fill my cup! When I’m not dancing or training at the gym, I love to spend quality time with my family, partner & friends – and there’s usually a dog in the picture too.
Where did you grow up?
Ferntree Gully!
What is your food weakness?
HASHIES & FROYO! I can never resist a hashbrown… or a sweet treat.
