Our Exercise Physiologist, are passionate about keeping people active and the evidence is everywhere to suggest that exercise is a major factor in minimising the effects and maximising the benefits of treatment of chronic disease, such as: diabetes, cancer, lung disease heart disease. For this reason we run small group classes, tailored to individual needs for people with chronic diseases. These are partially funded by Medicare and other organisations. We enjoy working closely with GPs and specialists to ensure that we are providing a safe and consistent exercise program while helping you work with your problems, not around them.
We are passionate about creating programs for our young athletes that are suited to their particular sports and personal goals. Our Exercise Physiologists work with athletes and athletic people, facilitating a program that is sport specific. Using the key principles of Exercise Physiology, each athlete develops the skills and strength needed for their chosen sport.
By focusing on sport-related injury prevention, as well as rehabilitating injuries, your Exercise Physiologist will apply a graded exercise program to ensure safe athletic development. These exercise programs are used to increase exercise tolerance to specifically help each person achieve their own goals.
These small group classes are designed for individuals who are looking to increase their strength and condition their bodies for specific activities. Similar to Athletic Development, you will be guided through an exercise program, tailored to your individual needs. your EP will gradually increase your training as you progress, challenging your body with each session. This will result in stronger performance and leaving you able to achieve your goals.
We run several 30 minute Stretch & Mobility classes each week which are great for our runners and athletes to aid their recovery. Anyone can benefit from these sessions as an increase in mobility and flexibility can keep you feeling great and prevent injuries.
